Does the app place furniture for me automatically?

No — furniture placement is fully manual and entirely your choice. You pick each piece from the catalog and drop it where you want it; nothing is auto-arranged. The 3D model itself is generated automatically from your floor plan, but how it's furnished is up to you.

What furniture is in the catalog?

The catalog covers every room — sofas, beds, dining tables and chairs, side tables, desks, storage, and kitchen and bathroom pieces — and it keeps growing. The focus is furniture you'd actually use to test a layout, not photoreal replicas of specific brand products.

Are the furniture sizes accurate?

Each piece in the catalog uses real-world dimensions, so you can use the model to sanity-check whether a sofa, bed or dining table will actually fit a room. They are intended for layout planning, not exact measurements — always confirm the final piece's specs with the manufacturer before you buy.

Can I place furniture on desktop, or only on my phone?

Both. You can upload, generate and furnish on the iOS and Android apps, or do the entire flow in your browser with the Ritn3D web app at app.ritn3d.com. Projects sync across every device signed in to your account.

How is this different from Planner 5D, RoomSketcher or other room planners?

Most of those tools make you redraw your home from scratch in their builder before you can place anything. Ritn3D takes the floor plan you already have — a phone photo, a PDF, a scan — and generates the 3D model directly, so you spend your time arranging furniture instead of tracing walls.

Can I upload a hand-drawn floor plan?

Detection works best on clean digital floor plans, scanned architectural drawings, or PDF exports from design software. Rough hand sketches aren't reliable yet — redraw the plan cleanly first, or start from one of the sample plans in the app.

Can I come back later and change the furniture layout?

Yes. Furniture layouts save with the project automatically. Reopen it any time to add, move or remove pieces — and any share link you've already sent updates with the new layout.
