Three Renders Per Month, Forever
The free tier gives you three full 3D renders every calendar month — not a 7-day trial, not a one-time bonus. The counter resets on the first of each month so you can plan around it without losing access.
Convert a 2D floor plan to a 3D model for free at app.ritn3d.com — three full 3D renders per month on the free tier, no credit card required, no time-limited trial. Below: exactly what the free tier includes, where it differs from the Pro tier ($9.99/mo for 20 renders and walkthrough mode), and the fastest way to get your first 3D model.
Three steps to your free 3D model
Go to app.ritn3d.com in any modern browser. No install, no download. Sign in with Google or email — both are free, and the free tier is the default plan with no card on file.
Drop in a PDF, JPG, or PNG of any floor plan: a phone photo, a scanned printed plan, a screenshot from a real estate listing, or a CAD export. The AI detects walls, doors, windows, and rooms automatically.
Review the detected layout in the side-by-side editor, fix anything that needs correcting, then click generate. Your interactive 3D model is ready in about two minutes and counts as one of your three free monthly renders.
A permanent plan — not a trial
The free tier gives you three full 3D renders every calendar month — not a 7-day trial, not a one-time bonus. The counter resets on the first of each month so you can plan around it without losing access.
The free tier accepts PDF, JPG, and PNG inputs — the same input formats as Pro and Pro+. Detection quality is identical across tiers; the only differences are render count, output quality, and which features are unlocked.
Free renders deliver a fully interactive bird's-eye 3D model you can orbit, zoom, and share. Walkthrough mode (the eye-level camera) and drag-and-drop furniture placement are reserved for the Pro and Pro+ tiers.
Every free render produces a shareable browser link. Free-tier links open in any browser and stay live for the project's lifetime; the only limits are five share opens per project and a small Ritn3D watermark.
Sign up with Google or email, get three renders this month, no payment information required. Free-tier accounts upgrade to Pro or Pro+ from inside the app whenever you need more renders or the unlocked features.

The free tier is a permanent plan, not a trial. Three full 3D renders every calendar month, no credit card required to sign up, no timer ticking down to a forced upgrade. The render counter resets on the first of each month, so a user who only converts one or two floor plans per month can use Ritn3D indefinitely without paying anything. Pro and Pro+ are separate paid plans you can move to whenever the free quota is no longer enough — Pro at $9.99/month for 20 renders plus walkthrough and furniture placement, and Pro+ at $19.99/month for 40 renders plus GLB and STL downloads for 3D printing. Both paid tiers offer a 7-day free trial; you can cancel before the trial ends to stay on the free plan.
Three differences. First, render count: free is 3/month, Pro is 20/month, Pro+ is 40/month. Second, viewing modes: free gives you orbit (bird's-eye) only, while Pro and Pro+ unlock walkthrough mode where you walk through rooms at eye level. Third, features: Pro and Pro+ unlock drag-and-drop furniture placement, full-HD textures, no watermark, longer share lists (50 people instead of 5), 90-day cloud sync, and Pro+ adds GLB and STL file downloads. The actual AI detection, input formats supported (PDF, JPG, PNG), and 3D model quality are the same across all tiers — paying just removes the limits on how often and how deeply you use the product.
Yes. Free-tier 3D models display a small Ritn3D watermark in the corner of the viewer, visible to you and to anyone you share the link with. The watermark does not block any part of the model and does not appear in screenshots taken from outside the viewer — it lives in the viewer's UI layer, not the rendered geometry. Pro and Pro+ remove the watermark entirely. If you need an unbranded share link for a client presentation, a real estate listing, or any commercial use, that is the most common reason free-tier users upgrade to Pro at $9.99/month.
The underlying AI detection and 3D model geometry are identical across all three tiers — free, Pro, and Pro+ all use the same wall detection model, the same room-classification model, and the same 3D scene generator. The only quality difference is texture resolution: the free tier ships standard-resolution textures, while Pro and Pro+ unlock full-HD textures with more detail in flooring, wall finishes, and trim. Standard textures look perfectly fine for previewing a layout, sharing with friends, or trying out the product; the HD textures matter most when you are showing the model to a paying client or capturing high-resolution screenshots for a listing or portfolio.
Not on the free tier. Downloading GLB and STL files is a Pro+ feature — Pro+ subscribers can export 10 STL downloads per month (which roll over month-to-month at $3.99 per extra credit). The free tier renders your 3D model into the in-browser viewer, but does not provide a downloadable file. If 3D printing is your primary goal — for architectural study models, hobbyist projects, or sales miniatures — Pro+ at $19.99/month is the tier that includes printable STL exports along with the higher render count and all of Pro's features. Pro+ also offers a 7-day free trial so you can verify the STL meets your slicer's requirements before subscribing.
Because most people converting a floor plan are doing it once or twice — a homeowner planning a renovation, a real estate agent trying it out on a listing, a student exploring 3D visualization. A free trial would force every casual user to either upgrade or stop using the product entirely, neither of which is good for the user. A permanent free tier with three renders per month covers the casual use cases honestly, gives the product a chance to demonstrate its value, and lets paid plans focus on the users who genuinely need higher render counts, walkthrough mode, furniture placement, or downloadable files. The free tier is not artificially limited to push you to pay; it is sized to fit the use case it is meant to serve.
Open the web app, drop in a JPG or PDF, get your 3D model in 2 minutes. No credit card. Three free renders every month.
